Union School

Our Story

Our Story

Union is a pioneering non-traditional school that opened its doors in the fall of 2015, offering a fresh approach to education through its Big Picture learning principles. At Union, each student charts their own individualized learning journey, emphasizing the motto "One Student at a Time" based on their unique interests.

Since its inception, Union has expanded to include a middle school program, currently serving approximately 220 students in grades 6-12. This small, close-knit community of learners thrives on interest-based education, leveraging community partnerships, project-based learning, workshops, and internships.

Students interested in joining Union can apply if they meet the necessary qualifications; applications are available online under the Admissions link or at our office.

Union proudly engages with the community, hosting various events and acting as a valuable asset to the neighborhood and the larger community.
